2: Cost Control

CaliforniaChoice lets you decide how much you want to contribute to your employees’ premiums. You can choose to contribute a Fixed Percentage (50% to 100%) of a specific benefit or plan, or a Fixed Dollar Amount for each employee. (All employees must receive the same contribution.)

Your employees can use your contribution toward the health plan and benefits they prefer. If an employee chooses a plan that costs more than your contribution, they pay the difference.

At renewal in 12 months, you can adjust your contribution up or down, giving you control over your benefits budget for the next year.
