You Control Your Health Care Budget

Using a tool called Defined Contribution, you decide how much you can contribute to your employees’ benefits. That amount is locked in for 12 months, which gives you confidence knowing you’ll have a fixed cost of insurance for the plan year. At renewal, you can revisit your contribution – and increase or decrease it.

The dollar amount you select for your employees’ benefits is sort of like a group health care voucher. Your employees apply your contribution toward the health plan they like best, including HMO, PPO, and HSA-qualified plans. If any employee chooses a plan that costs more than your contribution, he or she simply pays the difference.
